From the North: George Washington Bridge to the NJ Turnpike to
exit 14A. After the toll, take Avenue E to 29th St. Make a right
turn on 29th and go to Avenue A. Make a left turn then a right
at the first traffic light into the youth center.
From the East: Verrazano Bridge to the Staten Island Expwy. to
the Bayonne Bridge Exit. After coming off the Bayonne Bridge,
stay left to Kennedy Blvd. Go to 27th St. and turn left. Go to
Avenue A and turn right. The next traffic light, turn left onto
the school grounds. The rink is on the right, past the tennis
courts. The parking lot for the rink is on the left.
From I-495/Long Island Expressway:
I-495/Long Island Expressway to Rt-106/107 South exit 41. South on Rt-106/107 and
stay to the right and follow the Rt-106/Newbridge Rd. until you are past the
shopping center to W. John St. Right on W. John Street 1 mile to entrance to
Cantiague Park (right side of the road). Turn right into the park.
Rink is next to swimming pools.
I-495/LIE to Deer Park Rd./Rt-231 North exit 51. North on Deer Park Rd./Rt-231 to Vanderbilt Pkwy.
East (right) on Vanderbilt about 3/4 mile to Dix Hills Ice Rink.
Arena is in Dix Hills Park on the left side of the road.
Enter park and arena is on the left side inside the park.
From I-287 Westbound: West on I-287 to Rt-22 exit 6 (to White Plains). Turn left on Orchard St. from the exit and follow Orchard to the top of the hill and make a left onto Rt-22/North Broadway. Stay in left lane on N. Broadway for 4 lights. Just past Pace University, bear left onto Lake St. (sign says Lake St - West Harrison - Airport). Stay on Lake St. through two lights (go over I-287). Just past 2nd light you will see a sign on the right for Ebersole Rink/Delfino Park. Make a right just before the apartment buildings and you will see the rink right in front of you.
From I-287 Eastbound: East on I-287 to Rt-22/North Broadway exit 6. Right on Rt-22/North Broadway to Lake St. (stay in left lane on N. Broadway, Lake St. is just past Pace University). Left onto Lake St. (sign says Lake St - West Harrison - Airport). Stay on Lake St. through two lights (go over I-287). From I-87: I-87 to I-287 exit 8 and follow the I-287 Eastbound directions above.
From the south:Take the Belt Pkwy. east to the Van Wyck Expwy.
north. Get off the Van Wyck at exit #12 (COLLEGE PT. BLVD.)
Go straight up to the traffic light. Cross over the L.I.E.
service road past a second traffic light. You'll be on College
Point Blvd. At the next traffic light, make a left turn into
Flushing Meadows Park. (You will actually go under the Van Wyck
Expwy.) At the stop sign, under the Van Wyck, make a right turn.
Stay on the road adjacent to the Van Wyck about 1/4 of a mile.
As you approach, you will see the rink on the left side of the
road. The parking lot is on the right side of the road, under
Van Wyck Expressway.
From the north: Take the Whitestone Bridge to the Whitestone
Expwy. towards Shea Stadium to the Van Wyck Expwy. south. Get
off the Van Wyck at the COLLEGE POINT BLVD. exit. Go down the
ramp to the traffic light. Make a right turn onto College Point
Blvd. Stay in the right hand lane and go approximately 1,000 ft.
and make a right turn into the park. From there follow the rest
of the directions above.
If you are using a GPS, use 13135 Avery Avenue, Flushing
Take the Hutchinson River Pkwy. North to exit 9 Wolf's Lane.
Make a right turn, and then another right turn. Go under the
Hutch Pkwy. to the third traffic light (Columbus Ave.) Make a
left turn, and make your first left turn. Go down the road to
the Ice Hutch. (The bubble on the left)
From Northern State Parkway - Eastbound: East on Northern State Parkway
to S. Shelter Rock Rd. exit 27. South on Shelter Rock Rd. for about 2 miles
to Herricks Rd. (you will see a pond on the far right hand corner).
Right on Herricks to Hillside Ave. (second traffic light).
Right on Hillside and Iceland Skating RInk is ½ block up on the right.
From From Northern State Parkway - Westbound: West on Northern State Parkway to
Glen Cove Rd. exit 31A. Turn right at the end of the ramp and
go 3/10 of a mile to Rt-25B/Williston Ave./Hillside Ave. (becomes Hillside Ave).
Left onto 25B/Williston Ave./Hillside Ave. about 2 miles to
Iceland Skating RInk on the right (½ block past Herricks Rd.)
Take the Long Island Expressway east to exit 41N (Rte.106/107)
to Route 25 east. Make a right turn and proceed approximately 3
to 4 miles to Underhill Blvd. Make a left turn onto Underhill
Blvd. and go less than 1 mile. The rink is on the right hand
side of the road.
From I-495/Long Island Expressway: I-495/Long Island Expressway
to Sunken Meadow Pkwy. North (also known as Sagitos Parkway).
Proceed north on Sunken Meadow Pkwy. (Sagitos Pkwy.)
approx. 2 miles to Indian Head Rd. (exit SM3A). Turn left at
light at the end of the exit ramp on Indian Head Rd. and proceed
northeast approx. 1.75 miles on Indian Head Rd. to rink on the
left.
